Transparency Report

Science First.
Commerce Second.

Our editorial mission is to raise the standard of discourse in the peptide research community. We adhere to the strictest principles of scientific integrity, sourcing transparency, and independence.

1. Core Mission: Combating Disinformation

The field of peptide therapeutics is currently plagued by “bro-science,” anecdotal evidence, and marketing hyperbole. Forums and social media are rife with dangerous advice, often conflating research compounds with approved pharmaceuticals.

Peptides Med Center exists to act as a firewall against this disinformation.

We provide high-fidelity, technically accurate data for researchers. We do not simplify complex biochemistry for the sake of sales. We assume our audience is composed of qualified professionals who demand precision, not persuasion.

Accuracy Over Speed

We do not publish preliminary rumors. We wait for peer-reviewed data or verified Certificates of Analysis before making claims about a compound’s efficacy or stability.

Context Over Hype

We contextualize every finding. If a study was performed on animals or in vitro, we explicitly state it and avoid over-extrapolation.

Safety Over Sales

We highlight risks, limitations, and toxicity signals first. Safety sections are prominent, not buried in footers.

2. Sourcing Standards & The Hierarchy of Evidence

Not all data is created equal. When curating our library and research articles, we follow a strict hierarchy of evidence and prioritize reproducible, high-quality methodology.

Systematic Reviews & Meta-Analyses
Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs)
Cohort Studies
Case-Control Studies
In Vivo (Animal) & In Vitro (Cell)

Citation Rules:

  • We cite PubMed ID (PMID) or DOI for all factual claims.
  • We do not cite influencer content, “health blogs,” or non-indexed sources as evidence.
  • We note potential conflicts of interest when clearly disclosed by authors/journals.

3. Commercial Independence

Peptides Med Center maintains a strict firewall between our Editorial Team and any commercial operations to protect accuracy and neutrality.

  • No Pay-to-Play: Manufacturers cannot pay to be listed or featured.
  • Objective Analysis: Quality control decisions are not influenced by marketing goals.
  • Affiliate Disclosure: If any affiliate links exist, they are clearly marked.

4. Ethical Standards & Animal Welfare

A significant portion of peptide research involves animal models. We support the 3Rs (Replacement, Reduction, Refinement) and reference ARRIVE principles when discussing in vivo work.

We only discuss studies that report appropriate ethical review/oversight (e.g., IACUC or equivalent), and we explicitly discourage unregulated experimentation.

5. Scientific Advisory Board

Our content is reviewed by a panel of experts to improve chemical and biological accuracy.

Dr. Elena Rostova, PhD Biochemistry
Dr. James Chen, MD Endocrinology
Sarah Jenkins, MSc Analytical Chem

6. Corrections & Retractions Policy

Science is iterative. New data can supersede old findings. We are committed to updating content as evidence evolves.

  • Minor Errors: Formatting/typos corrected promptly.
  • Substantive Corrections: Updates that change interpretation include a visible correction note and date.
  • Retractions: Retracted studies are flagged and citations are updated/removed accordingly.
